Chemical

We don’t use products with chemicals. We have pioneered the use of enzymes for cleaning. They are the only product on the planet  proven to kill 100% of known pathogens.

Agile
company

We do not have a Head Office and are a truly agile Company. We outsource all of the administration of systems, Payroll, HR, H&S given that we have exceptional partners and they are experts in what they do.

BioHygiene
cleaning products

The UK's leading brand of biotech cleaning solutions. Launched in 2016, BioHygiene has helped over 10,000 businesses reduce their environmental impact by transitioning from harmful, non-renewable, traditional cleaning technologies to innovative, cost-effective products designed to meet the needs and demands of the modern world.

Kanso and BioHygiene believe that you don’t need to compromise on quality or cost to be sustainable – that Eco and Biotech based cleaning can be more effective, efficient, and easier to use than traditional chemical products.

Waste management
recycling

If it became a requirement in the future, Kanso can ensure your waste is properly segregated  and recycled potentially delivering significant cost benefits to you. We will not use black plastic bags and discourage  the use of single use plastic where possible. As a future development we would like to propose a dedicated member of staff responsible for all waste management including  segregation of cardboard, all plastics, paper and glass. This not only allows your building to be legally compliant with recycling but also goes above and beyond to support the environment and make  sustainable changes. This may well provide long term savings, creating energy efficiency and save natural resources.

Meaningful
partnerships

We have a full and meaningful partnership with some of the leading suppliers in the UK. Nespresso are our coffee partner due to the Global impact they have on both Development, re-investment and recycling of every element of their product lines. In 2019 they trained 184 Female agronomists in Africa. This exceptional and groundbreaking work continues to positively impact African economies. This meaningful work continues to impact thousands of families lives through creating employment and sustainable farming communities in coffee bean production. They use their recycled pods to manufacture the new coffee machines on the shelves in their stores. Nespresso also  double there recycling stations every 3 months to encourage their  clients to recycle the coffee pods they produce. The easier this process becomes the greater their reach on recycling. We love that they keep challenging themselves to be better and are now working  with some of our other partners to help them do the same.

Where possible we procure locally. We partner with Pasture Naturals for consumables; hand soaps and other amenities which are born in Poole, and would not have far to travel to support any of the contracts. Their range of products are exceptional, and cover lotions, soaps, sanitisers, hair wash and body wash products as well as diffusers.

Ethical
sustainability

At Kanso, sustainability and ‘green cleaning’ are not just buzzwords or a USP but is a fundamental part of our business that operates throughout every level of our company and our service offering

to our clients. We work with service partners to offer a service solution that is truly unique; it is not what we do, but how we do it  that makes Kanso different from other service providers.

Our ethical sustainability ethos does not only apply to the  products we use or how we support and develop our people but also the uniform we wear and what that represents to both our business and yours. Our workwear partner only uses 100% recycled plastics for the range of uniforms we propose, or an alternative is materials that are sourced responsibly and are manufactured through their ethically sound supply chains. In addition, they operate a unique uniform recycling service that Kanso fully supports. Every used piece of uniform within our business does not go into landfill but 100% of the cotton material goes back through the recycling chain and contributes to the manufacture of our new uniforms.
