2018

Where “Facilities Simplified” Begins

Kanso FM is founded, inspired by the Zen principle of Kanso, simplicity, purpose, and clarity. Our vision from day one, to simplify facilities management and create spaces that feel cared for.


This philosophy later became our enduring brand promise, Facilities Simplified.

2022

A New Chapter of Leadership

Norma Bresciani acquires Kanso FM, bringing bold female-led direction and a renewed focus on service, culture, and operational excellence.

Under her leadership, Kanso begins its transition from a small provider to a high-growth, purpose-driven organisation built on people, trust, and standards.

2023

Expansion Into Premium Hospitality & National Growth

Kanso accelerates its presence across the UK, securing national coverage contracts and expanding deeply into five-star hospitality and high-end commercial environments.


We successfully mobilise 12+ new contracts and transition over 350 colleagues, strengthening our operational footprint and capability. This year marks our shift from a regional provider to a national partner trusted in premium, guest-facing, and high-expectation environments.

2024

Breakthrough Corporate Wins & Sector Diversification

Kanso achieves ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification, elevating our quality, environmental, and safety standards.

We win several game-changing corporate and technology campus contracts, positioning Kanso as a trusted partner in large, complex, and mission-critical environments.

These wins reshape our trajectory, opening doors into large corporate estates, high-security operational sites, and advanced workplace settings, the beginning of our movement into world-class, high-performance sectors.

2025

Acceleration, Expansion & Purpose-Led Growth

We double our Executive Team to power Kanso’s next phase of growth, deepening our focus on people, culture, and experience-led delivery. We launch Kanso International, extending our reach beyond the UK and strengthening our presence in heritage, luxury hospitality, Education, the wider corporate landscape and Public sector.

This year marks a defining shift, Facilities Simplified becomes the engine behind our three pillars, People, Planet, and Purpose. These pillars guide every decision we make, from sustainable procurement to colleague wellbeing and meaningful social impact.

Our joint venture, Curo FS, grows from a single school to almost 20 across the UK, a testament to the trust we’ve earned and the strength of our approach in the independent education sector.

Kanso enters 2025 as a business built not just to grow, but to lead with purpose, impact, and care.
