Sarah Gomez joined Kanso on the 14th of November 2022 as our Payroll Administrator, at a time of significant transition for the business, as we geared up to take on a number of significant Contracts and several hundred new Team Members in the months following her appointment. Sarah has become a much loved and greatly appreciated member of our Admin Team and took on the task ahead of her with exceptional, yet quiet professionalism, embracing the challenge with a true can-do attitude.

 

Sarah lives in Kilburn, North West London, with her husband and enjoys singing as a hobby.

 

Sarah joined a Filipino Oratorio (Choir) in September 2022 and the choir celebrated its 50th Anniversary in September 2023. Sarah sings in the choir every week and has become an integral part of this choral family of 200. "We practice every night from mid July-August in Iglesia Ni Cristo Chapels in Battersea," Sarah told us earlier this week.

 

The Oratorio has 2 parts. First, Ang Iglesia Ni Cristo Sa Mga Huling Araw (The Church Of Christ In These Last Days) centres on biblical verses attesting to the emergence and growth of the Iglesia Ni Cristo that emerged in the Philippines on 27 July 1914. This part is in Filipino, the language that Brother Felix Y. Manalo used in preaching the pristine gospel. Second, Felix Manalo: the Messenger of God In These Las Days – this oratorio depicts the calling of Brother Felix Manalo as the Messenger of God in these last days.
